The patient or a companion must appear in Admissions to complete the procedures for admission. The
documentation they will need is:
Authorization of your company, if you have private insurance.
- The entry sheet.
- The instructions your doctor has given you.
- The informed consent duly signed by the patient and his doctor.
- Documentation with all the examinations and preoperative tests that have been carried out.
Items for personal use during your stay at Clinica Dr. Hay Irlen you may need:
- Pajamas or nightwear
- Personal hygiene items
The rooms are individual and have everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay:
- Bed with movement control system to change posture.
- Bathroom with shower
- Sofa-bed for a companion.
- Centralized oxygen and vacuum system.
- Cold / heat air conditioning.
- Call system to notify staff whenever you need it.
- Telephone to receive calls from abroad.
- Television with all multimedia services (Smart TV).
- WiFi service.
The visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., avoiding visits to patients during their meal times.
At all times, silence and respect for other patients must be guaranteed.
The doctor responsible for your treatment will provide you with the medical information you need and
to ensure confidentiality will only inform the people you indicate.

The approximate meal times for inpatients are:
- Breakfast: 8.00 h.
- Lunch: 12.30 h.
- Snack: 16.30 h.
- Dinner: 7.30pm
The composition of lunch and dinner can be chosen by the patient in advance.
For reasons of hospital hygiene, please do not bring food or drinks to the rooms.
The companions will have uninterrupted hours from 08:00 to 22:00 hours in the cafeteria.
Once the doctor has decided to discharge you, ask your nurse for the corresponding report along with
the results of the analyzes, x-rays and scans. Then we ask you to stop by the Administration Service
before ten o’clock in the morning. After that time, the day of departure will be invoiced.
In order for the center staff to be able to locate you easily when an intervention is being made, it is
advisable to wait in the assigned room. In this way they will receive any information immediately.
